I'm not sure if this really worked or if it's all in my head, cause i havn't done any benchmarking, and don't really know if it does anything at all!

What i did was to reduce the number of posible devices that can connect to the computers bluetooth dongle. it was set at 7, which made me think that maybe it was only giving me a portion of the posible bandwidth.

I cut it down to 1 connection and it seams to work faster

can anyone verify this?

I used to have to wait a min for resco file explorer to show the contents of one of my share folders, and now they just pop up. music used to stutter alot and it seams better now.

again, don't know if this really works but it's a simple thing to change so try it tell me what happens.

BTW to change this:

go to "my bluetooth places"
right click on "My Device" and click on "Properties"
click the "Local Services" tab
double-click on "Network Access"

then under max # of connections select the number you need

I don't know all bluetooth software is the same (probably not) but that's how you get to it in the belkin software.

probably something similar in other software. give it a try!
