Hi,
I'm about to start encoding some DVDs for playback on my iPAQ 2215. From other articles in this forum I've decided to go with DivX and not Windows Media. Also found some nice guides to convert from DVD to DivX on this forum.
Any recommendations on a DivX player that runs on WM2003?
Thanks!

PocketMVP is the newer version of PocketDivX - the name changed a year or so ago, if I remember correctly. The most widely available version (http://home.adelphia.net/~mdukette/downloads.html#PocketPC) of PocketMVP will NOT work with WM 2003 - you'll need to use this version (http://www.wincesoft.de/html/pocket_divx.html) instead.

Sorry if this is mentioned elsewhere, didn't find it in a search. The "widely available version" apparently now supports WM2003.

I'll be receiving my WM2003 upgrade in the next day or so. My question: Which version to use? I'm not sure if the version in the URL above is the "official" version or not, since it's open source.
Has anyone compared this new version to the other WM2003 version that Surgical Snack points us to? Is one any better than the other?
Thanks,
buckyg

Yes, that is the new official version.
The one on winsoft.de was a violation of the GPL, there was a huge discussion on the projectmayo forums about it.

Thanks! I will use the official version then.
I've got Pocket MVP installed on my e740 machine. And I'm wondering if the 'ATI Optimization' really works...
1 reason why I doubted it is because it asked me the question if I wanted the ATI optimization when its 'Writing on Remove Program' plus it took only about 2 seconds to install it...is it for real?
