Ever since I started using my first Pocket PC I have been bedevilled by the problem of keeping my important files in sync. Okay so I know that the obvious answer is to keep them in my documents on the PPC and have them sync with the pc, but....

The problem for me has always been the size of the files I like to carry around with me. A lot of them are multi page works in progress or copies of documents from the distant past - it all adds up and I have never wanted to hog the precious RAM of my Jornada with word documents (this was especially true when I had a 16meg Jornada 545!). What this has meant is that I end up copying files over manually to my CF card or the HP safe store and often end up with multiple copies of documents or fogetting to copy the file over just when I really need it.

I am curious if others have similiar experiences and what they do to get around Activesynces inabilty to sync folders other than in main memory.
