It is by a Pocket Informant fan named Detlef Jenett.

Be careful. It is still in alpha stages. There is an August 8, 2003 build at Detlef's site, which you can get to through the first link above. Way to go Detlef! :way to go:

Not to start a multipage OT discussion, that appears to be the Orinoco signal strength meter.

Where can I find this program? Handango doesn't seem to have it, and Google isn't giving me a webpage either.

It comes with Orinoco wireless nics (http://www.proxim.com/products/all/orinoco/client/index.html).

The PI today plugin is nice, but I think that tAgenda is better.

tAgenda can be configured to launch PI, and it does a better job with displaying lots of info in limited Today real estate.

tAgenda is the best PIM today plugin I ever saw.

I concur. However, I'm waiting for something with the functionality of tAgenda and looks of PIToday. I particularly like the fact that PItoday can be collapsed to one row of screen space when desired. I'd like to have something whose size can be set with a tap-and-drag, occupying exactly as much space as you want. Or maybe have it determined by displaying the next x tasks and y appointments. Or even (in an extreme case) do what tAgenda does ;) , using x rows for everything.

I don't suppose you installed PI to a storage card or something, did you?

Nops !
The installation instructions says that I have to copy the two files in windows folder. Both of them are in the windows folder.

Any guidance for other software installations. How can you tell which software not to install on the CF card ?

Do you not have Pocket Informant installed, then? This is a today plug-in that I believe requires that you have Pocket Informant.

Actually, you must install the two files into two different folders, one fit the start menu and the other for the dll.

Check the readme.
