Do you guys know if the 1900 and the 2200 series share the same batteries? From the way they look in pictures, it semms that they do but both have different product numbers.

I want a 2215 for me and a 1910 for my girlfriend and it would be great if we could use the same batteries.

thanks

They are the exact same except for the placement of the plastic "nubs" that slide into the slots of the battery compartment, and possibly the contact placment. Why HP, why?

HP should just use a single battery throughout its entire ipaq line just like sony did with its memory stick.

Imagine if a new ipaq, the 6650, came out and would take any of the accesories from our "old" ipaqs, HP wouldnīt make as much money selling new accesories. This is why they have to change the connectors with almost every ipaq.

If only Microsoft demanded OEMs to use a standard "windows mobile bus" so that all keyboards, cradles and accesories would work with any PPC device.... Oh, I forgot, Microsoft is on their side! :D
