Hi,

Question from a newbie...probably very stupid..but bear with me please!

I have several "mpeg" files, I can play on my PC with WMP, but that don't play on my iPAQ (PocketPC)... What do I do wrong?

I get a message: There is no application associatyed with......bla bla

It doesn't show the proper WMP icon on my iPAQ neither....

You can try to use something like PocketTweak (http://tillanosoft.com/ce/ptweak.html) to re-associate the files to WMP...

To play MPEG you need somthing likePocket TV (http://www.mpegtv.com/wince/pockettv/) or Pocket MVP (http://home.adelphia.net/~mdukette/downloads.html).

Pocket mvp is great. Pocket TV on the other hand I never got it too read off of my sd card. You can play MPEGs in WMP on you ipaq, you just need to copy the MPEGs to your device with WMP on your pc just like you do music.

No, you can't play mpegs on you iPAQ with WMP. By transfering the mpegs to the iPAQ by using WMP on your PC, what you're doing is converting the mpegs to wmv's. So what you're really doing is playing wmv's on your iPAQ with WMP.
