battery meter

I posted this question on another forum but no one bit so I'm going to try again here...

The built in battery meter in "power" under "settings" on my new h5550 kind of floats around a bit. It'll start at say 6.9hrs., wait a few seconds, then go to 7.4hrs., then another couple of seconds, then 7.2hrs., etc. Is your's the same or should it be more precise?

Well, that's pretty normal. Even Windows does that on a laptop. The time left in the battery is estimated by the battery's size and what's currently running.. So if you load up an application and check the time left on a battery it'll drop because you're using more CPU and, in the case of a laptop, the hard drive's clicking away.

When you're idling, then nothing's running and you get a higher estimated time.
