View Full Version : Wich task manager is good for WM 2003?
I have pocket plus, but itīs unstable on wm2003, and i donīt really like it. I used to have wisbar but it doesnīt works on wm 2003. (icBar, in fact, it was the same) anyone knows a task manager that can work on my iPAQ 1940?

There's a new version of Wisbar Advance that works with 2003. You want version 1.4.
EDIT: made it more clear I was talking about WA, not PP

I understand that the old version of PocketPlus is unstable, but I've been running the latest version for nine days now and have not found a single hiccup with it. (The latest version was released nine days ago).
I'm running on a 2210.
I liked the task manager with batterypack, and also the wisbar one. I must say, having to tap and hold in pocket plus to get the menu to pop up is a pain.

I think that the last version is 1.3. Thatīs the one iīm having problems with.
And i want a regular task manager, i hate to tap and hold to get the menu!

I'm using Gigatask, which seems to be fine.

I like having a completely clean RAM, so is there any program that works on WM 2003 that will let you instantly close an app?
E.g. i press something like the record button (which can re-mapped) and the app closes down>?

PocketPlus will allow you to do this.

I have been using vbar for the longest time now. Used it on my PPC2002 device and now on my WM2003 device with no problems whatsoever. Nothing fancy to it. It simply places an "x" in the task bar when any programs are running and places a pulldown arrow beside it that lets you see all programs that are currently running. I haven't used any others because this has served me so well so I can't compare to anything else.
edit: I just read the "about" info on it and it states that it is based on WIS bar.

Sorry - I updated my post. I was referring to Wisbar Advance 1.4.

I'm currently using MagicButton on both my 3950 and 2210.... works like a charm. I've used Wisbar, Vbar, and IcBar and I enjoy MagicButton the most. It's got a very small footprint and is seamless in integration. It does not cover any of the notifications and is very stable on both PPC2202 and WM2003.
