Here's a warranty voider if I ever heard one. I just bought a 1945 last night. Although the screen is pretty darn good, it still doesn't match the screen on my 1910 which I LOVE!
Anyone out there know if this can be done?
I know I risk ruining both.....but have you ever been in one of those daring moods?

I know I have but it's not worth losing two devices. There are too many variables in doing that kind of surgery.

1. The screens may not be the same (physically).
2. If they are the same the connectors may not be.
3. The connectors may look the same but be setup in a different order.
4. The display controllers may not be compatible.
5. Voltage may be different.
Just to list a few. It's just too risky.

Right. You may end burning both devices. Why donīt you ask ppctechs? They should know.

Yikes, I had no idea that there could be so many possible variables.
The screen on the 1945 is sufficient. I just got spoiled with the screen on my 1910.
Thank you both for your input.
