TOM TOM on 54 series

I'm having probs with tom tom on my 5450.
the problems is that when tom tom is installed the wireless lan wont work.

anyone got a clue why?

Very interesting. How are you connected to your GPS hardware?

I have a bluetooth GPS and I have not noticed any problems, but I also have not tried to use them together yet.

Well The Wlan just wont peer to peer is Tom Tom is installed. If I do a hard reset and not install Tom Tom then the Wlan works fine...
....Reinstall tom tom and then BOOOM, Wlan stops.

The strange thing is two of my work mates are finding the same thing.

Why don't you try the Tom Tom online support (http://support.tomtom.com/index.php3?Platform=2&Language_support=1&SupportURL=http://www.tomtom.com) ?

Well I tried them, they told me to install the updates, if that doesn't work try HP support and try a hard reset.

When I phoned HP and told them the situation they just told me to perform a hard reset and never install tom tom.

I wonder if it has something to do with the com port Tom Tom wants to use. Did you try asking over at gpspassion.com? He is on top of all the software, bugs, fixes and such and has helped me getting Tom Tom set up on my 5450.

Looks like Tom Tom has created quite a few problems with PPC users.
