I dont know if you guys has experienced that before-
I found that on Bluetooth, the linkage of GPRS thru my T68i is much more fragile- its much easier to broke then I use IrDA. My network connection is very poor, but IrDA seems to be more durable than Bluetooth... I cannot keep my bluetooth on for more than 10 minutes in general.

Any good idea? I am using iPAQ 5450 + T68i

I do not have problems with my 2215 & Nokia 3650. works great up to about 20 feet away. Maybe you could try a different BT enabled phone.

I think the issue may be with the T68 phone. I've heard from people who have used it and other Bluetooth phones that the T68 drops the Bluetooth connection much more often and easily.

I have the t616 with my ipaq 2215 and it works everytime. In three weeks I have only soft reset my ipaq 3 times because a phone call messed up my connection. I was on line for 38 minutes yesterday while in a big office building in downtown Atlanta. I love this phone and it takes decent pics for sharing, (not printing....)

I also found that connecting to the t68i vs a N3650, the t68i has a shorter range for some reason. I set this up in my house to see which one had a more powerful bt connection.

Actually, I hace a similar problem with my BT setup. Sometimes I am connected for some hours without any problems, and then suddenly it just disconnects every some minutes. Rebooting both devices (phone+ppc) helps, but not really a lot.
Sometimes, of course it is good to have a look on the signal strength, after all it's one wireless connection more which has to be kept up.

But maybe this is just a bug in the WIDCOMM stack. :?: :| :?:

I've never used anything but a T68 with my Axim so I can't speak to how it compares with other phones. I can say that anytime I get further than about 4 feet my connection can get a bit dicey. Inside that its been very reliable. The range is a little disappointing given the 8-10 foot range that others are able to get but its not enough to make me run out and drop a couple hundred dollars on a new bluetooth phone.

Well since i just upraded to a T616 i now have my T68iS for sale.. :D Anyone want it then just lemme know.

I used it with the phone and it was no problem at all. Since i now have the T616 i didn't even change anything on the iPAQ other than pairing the T616 and removing the T68iS :D I dunno why but it was always all good for me
