This morning I tried to install Pocket Flash Cards which requires MS eVB Runtime. After installing both, I wound up with a hard reset. eVB Runtime was installed by downloading the .cab file to the desktop, then drag/dropping it into "My Documents" on the 2215. Could this have caused the problem? Is there a better way? MS instructions offered two options for install:
1. download to ppc via ActiveSync and the desktop pass-through feature.
I don't know what that is, so I didn't use this option
2. download MS eVB Runtime to desktop. Use ActiveSync "Explore" to download the CAB file to ppc, then use File Explorer to browse the file and tap to install.
This is what I did, but used My Documents as the destination file. Was that wrong?
Finally, does anyone know of a Flash Cards Program that doesn't require MS eVB Runtime?
Thanks in advance for any advice....
