Newbie help required....

I am on the point of throwing my ipaq 3850 out the window. I use activsync 3.7 so that I can store my work e-mails on my ipaq. Now ok I have 1000's of e-mails stored in many folders, but for a while it worked fine.

Now all of a sudden activsync will shut down halfway through a sync or it will complete and then announce that it has 30+ unresolved items (typically attachments). When I try resolving them it just tells me file conversion failed....I don't understand on previous syncs there was no problem :oops:

Have tried soft reset and reloading Activ sync....no joy

This is probably a bug in ActiveSync, and it's happened to many other people. I have forund that a hard reset will cure ActiveSync of this problem, but make sure all your data is backed up on your computer first! :|

Thanks for the tip. I've done as you've suggested....twice and still not improvement. Have I overlooked something basic?
