I finally got my 5550 to sync wirelessly. I unchecked the entry for my desktop in Pocket Hosts and voila!
But I still have issues with email (very important to most) and WorldMate (not so important).
I tried the latest version of WebISMail and (whenever it installed and went through setup without hanging the device) I got the following:
Log started [8/4/03 2:53 PM]
"Home" service selected.
* Starting Full Synchronization *
Starting "Home" synchronization...
"Home" login failed.
Synchronization complete.
* Completed Full Synchronization *
I've tried doing a hard reset (several in fact) and just installing WebISMail, as well as using just Inbox after the reset. Neither will download my email.
One thing I noticed is on my 3670 that functions as it should, after I send/receive in WebISMail, I get the following in the \Temp directory: an Inbox folder, a WebIS folder and a Mail folder in the WebIS folder. But on the 5550, I get a Mail folder and a MailbIS folder in the \Temp directory.
Also, the version of WorldMate that shipped on the CD won't update itself on my iPaq.
