<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://mobileslash.com' target='_blank'>http://mobileslash.com</a><br /><br /></div>Jeremiah Owen once was the webmaster of the site with the funny name, Sprinklerhead.com. But now "Sprinklerhead Publishing Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of Mobileslash.com. Mobileslash.com is picking up where Sprinklerhead.com left off by providing daily news, views, and reviews of everything for your digital, mobile life. If it’s mobile we’ll cover it, whether it’s the newest cell phone, laptop, or PDA, we’ve got you covered. We’ve revamped our site engine in order to provide a superior web experience with a focus on discussions. We will still offer the same great reviews and news that you have grown to expect from Sprinklerhead.com while at the same time becoming a one-stop source for all your mobile news and views."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/mobileslash.gif" />

Is this related to the famous slashdot.org or is it a rip-off of a familiar name.

I prefered the old name. Always thought it was kind of cool.

I wouldn't call it a rip-off more a of a "market capitalization" there other site that have used a sinilar name as well: ie macslash.com

Around here, 'slash' is a coloquial term for urinate. Mobile Slash certainly has a ring to it!

Nice pic of the Sprint/Samsung handset game controller add-on!

Maybe you guys can cover other hardware launches in handheld gaming (especially the two this October):

Yeah the Sony PSP will be the 800-lb gorilla to beat (even in regards to Nintendo's GBA in some ways, I think). But not until Q4 of next year, so looks like we'll have several contenders starting next month trying to make the most of the 1-yr delay. Both Zodiac and N-Gage certainly look interesting in their own rights...

Will there be a mobileaxl.com, mobileizzy.com and mobileduff.com also?

Sorry, I couldn't resist the Guns 'n roses reference. Strange thing is, I've hardly ever listened to them and I've certainly never purchased or downloaded any of their music.

"Slash" has this meaning in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Is all of the old content gone? Also, is it just me, or do we have to re-register? I would have hoped my old logon name would still work, but it didn't seem to.
