I don't have a pocketpc but am seriously looking at them.

Coming from the Palm world, my question is this: is there a PC app, similar to Palm desktop in the Pocket PC world?

I have seen the native app, Pocket Informant and Agenda fusion but do they only communicate with (yuck!) Outlook on the PC?

Or is there something better to manage/sync on a PC?

Well, like Palm's, you can buy applications that will port the Pocket PC to sync with other mail/calender programs instead of outlook.

any examples? links?

I just hate Outlook on the PC.

Intellisync is probably the most popular option for Palm or Pocket PC users. I don't know what you like to use, but you can see it here.

I believe you can use IntelliSync and keep Palm Desktop if that's what you're using now.
