<a href="http://www.m-travel.com/30731.shtml">http://www.m-travel.com/30731.shtml</a><br /><br />"Worldwide, there are 300 million people use the Internet, but some 500 million pack a mobile phone. With these numbers in mind, the Israeli company RegiSoft has been developing ticket sales on mobile devices, and now the first such wireless transaction system is up and running in Singapore."<br /><br />As more and more handsets get smart and easy to use, the amount of services available at your fingertips will explode. Of course, I'm not looking for this in the U.S. of A. We have too many cell networks that don't play well with each other. :grumble:

Yup. good news indeed. no more waiting in line.

FYI, for those of you who never watch a movie in singapore : You have to queue before you can purchase a ticket. On a hot movie like Terminator 3, the queue for the 6 PM show starts at 4 PM. The queue can go as long as 150-200 meters. So, you better bring a folded chair with you. With this ticket-less method, life definitely is easier.

Maximus,

You can buy your tickets online at http://www.gv.com.sg/ and even get to choose your seats... I understand the AXS Kiosks also allow you to buy tickets these days (petrol stations etc.). No one I know waits in those queues anymore but for the teenagers.

Cheers
