I am look for a "good buy" bluetooth adaptor that will give me the best range for its prive. So far the best thing I have found is the Belkin which is 34.99 and works up to 100 meters (330 ft) away. Does anyone know of any others that can work a bit farther away or at the same distance but more reliable or stronger (better for passing through walls...)

There are 2 types of BT dongles I think. One that gets 10m or 33 ft, and one that gets 100m or 330 ft. I haven't been able to get near 330 ft with my bluetooth, but it is supposed to be a short range cable replacement not WiFi. I doubt you will able to find anything stronger.

So with the 100 meter Belkin bluetooth adaptor I could like use it from another room or something? How far were you actually able to use it? and under what circumstances (enviornment)? And are you happy with the Bluetooth adaptor are the speeds ok on it and everything.

I've had good luck with my F8T001 from Belkin. It covers my duplex ~1200sq ft.

I got much better results from it once I moved it to the middle of my desk and flipped the antennea up. It makes a big differenct when it isn't hidden behind stuff.

BT is not always exactly blazing. I just managed to figure WiFi syncing out with help from some folks here, and it is much faster. BT isn't bad. I also use the Belkin dongle and have been happy with it.

Oh yeah, left that out, definately won't break any bandwidth records with BT. But it is nice in the house when you want to jump online real quick. I don't have to hop up and grab my CF WiFi or anything. It's nice for that...
