"Cannot execute prebackup.exe" HELP!!!!

O.k., At some point in the distant past, I must have installed something that my PPC didn't like. Unfortunatly, I have no idea what that might be at this point. However, here's what happens, Nearly every time I turn on my PPC, I get the error described in this message header!! I get anywhere from 5 to 12 of them at once, making the use of my device very difficult until I "O.K." each dialog.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. In the end, I would hate to hgave to clear my machine and start from scratch:(

Have you looked in the Windows StartUp folder for anything that looks like it might belong to a deleted app? I should think that it would be safe to move anything that looks suspicious out of that folder (but keep it somewhere else in case it's actually needed). Always a good idea to do a backup first, of course. :)
