All I can say is this was worth the wait.... I have been connected for 30 minutes while driving and getting out at Lowe's and Chicfila. No loss of connection at all. I am in love with this new phone now too, ericsson t616. I have downloaded 34 emails and sent 4. The connection time with bluetooth is less than 4 seconds! I could not be happier. Thank you God for letting me live in this technological age.
I'll post how I made the connection work later today. Thanks for all the help.
Now to finally subscribe for the mobile forum.

Thanks Jason-
Here's the cingular deal if anyone else needs it..
First, establish a bluetooth partnership with your phone.
Next, put the phone number in your PDA for bluetooth dialup connection.
I entered the *99# for the phone number but Cingular also requires a user ID and password be used. Here it is.
User ID -
[email protected]
password - CINGULAR1
Also, you must subscribe to wireless internet express on your bill and go to www.mywirelesswindow.com to open an account.
It's the bomb.....

The Police in the UK are using all sorts of excuses for stopping people for driving "without due care and attention" - monitoring a PPC whilst driving could be viewed in the same manner as using a mobile phone - dunno how it works in the states - but there have been some crazy reports for things here - including a guy being stopped and getting a citation (or ticket) for eating a candy bar!

Steve C, you are so meany.
I was typing this:
Hello there ... I know the feeling. It is almost euphoric, right ? :D
I felt exactly the same several weeks ago, when I was stranded in the middle of nowhere with no access to internet, no laptop ... just my axim and a GPRS card.
And when I click 'submit' .. I got the notification that the thread has been locked. Mean mean. heheh.
I came from this thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15983)
Ha ha ha.

I have no problem with someone saying it is their first wireless post.
benefits??
we find out their combination/method for doing it.
others contribute experiences/ideas for doing it.
posts support advice and other important factors of wireless are brought up.

I have no problem with it either...
But why have 100 seperate threads about it, when we can have just one???

Is there a way to make a post 'sticky', so it will always appear on the first page of a forum ? Instead of opening a new thread, people can just append on that post ?

Are we having one person doing all of these posts? or many different people putting up these posts?
NOt sure about the sticky concept.

We could also have these posts placed in the wireless section only, since the name of the thread tells the story.;)
Ex:SharpIQ7000/Psion3/3a/3c/5/PalmV/iPaq3650.
Griph, I know it is important for us to see every PDA you have owned, but the long word in your sig is now the only thing that messes up the formatting in the mobile forums.
It would be great if you could put a space or two in it.
Cheers!

A little confused here, you are saying that you can only use your sim card for GPRS, but not for voice ?
