"Cannot Connect" error on iPaq 2210 with WM2003

Apologies if someone has already posted or answered this question. Ever since I installed my WiFi card in my new iPaq, I have been getting the same error whenever the card is NOT inserted. Every 2 minutes or so I get the following message: "Unable to connect: You have no modem entries created, and no network card present".

I have no idea why this is popping up and the worst part is that it prevents my device from turning off automatically.

It sounds like you have some program trying to access the internet on a regular basis. Do you have activesync's options set to sync every so many minutes, or such? Do you have an email account setup? Perhaps thats trying to check?

Thanks! My mail was set to connect and check for messages every two minutes. Don't know why I didn't think to check that... :oops:
