If you're looking for a luxurious alternative to the Vaja case, this might be the right choice. (It's just as expensive, though...)<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/parekh-20030728-PielFrama-22xx.jpg" />

Piel-Frama's prices include shipping so I'm getting the Ostrich Skin Case for 103USD/90Euros at least that was the exchange rate when I placed my order. I believe Vaja's Ostrich Skin option is more expensive when shipping is added. I'm such a carnivore! :D

Don't Piel Frama and Vaja both actually use cowskin leather thats embossed to look like ostrich? The only case maker I know of that uses real ostrich (or real alligator) is Avoglio and they are really expensive.
Anyway, thats getting off topic I guess. I've been looking at these cases and wondering whether I should buy, or wait for the one I really want. Something aluminum, wafer-thin, vertical flip cover, something that barely increases the size and weight of the naked unit. hmmmm there goes that topic again...

I love the vaja cases and feel they really do a good job of protecting the pda against drops, etc.. However I feel for business the Piel Frama cases just look a little more elegant. I have a IPAQ 2215 and think I'm going to go for the Piel Frama case this time. My main reason here is that the controls seem more accessable on the Piel Frama case. I've noticed that the vaja case has more stylized cuttouts around the buttons and with the thickness of the leather it seems like it might be a little difficult to press them. When someone has a Vaja for the 2215 let us know how it works. I'm holding off buying anything till I get a little more info.

Slightly OT:
I just received a Piel Frama case for my 5550. However, I do not like the shininess of the leather and would rather have a Vaja. The Piel Frama has been touched like twice and that's the extent of it's use so far.
I paid $85CDN + taxes for it. Anyone want it for $80? Remember, it's barely even been touched, nevermind used.
