I just installed pocket mvp on my 2210. It asked me what files I want to associated with pocket mvp. I clicked on all of them... However, I want WM9 to go back to being the default player for mp3 etc. How do I change back to that without doing a hard reset.
Thanks

Unless the uninstall routine for PocketMVP restores modified file associations as any good uninstall routine should, I think your only recourse is to manually restore the file associations. You can use a program like Resco Explorer 2003 (http://www.resco-net.com) to do this safely without having to edit the registry by hand. (There's a fully-functional fourteen-day trial period for Resco Explorer 2003.) Tap and hold on an MP3 file, select "Associate with..." from the context menu that pops up, enter (or browse to) "\Windows\player.exe", and check the "Always use this program..." checkbox. Repeat that procedure for any other file types you wish.
By the way, welcome to Pocket PC Thoughts!

Okay! Thanks... it worked.
Although, this one minor thing nags me, kinda silly really. But right now, it still shows all the mp3 files with the windows icon, but not the WM9 icon... anyway to fix that?
I'd use Pocket Tweak to do this. It's free.
