Ok guys need some help here. I sold my Linksys WCF-12 because it wouldn't work with WM2003 and purchased the MA701. I can't get it to work reliably either.

I have a Netgear MR814 router, I have WEP enabled, but can't connect to it. I have my sisters laptop talking, which has a Linksys card in it. So I know there's nothing wrong with the router.

I get messages saying my handheld can't get a server assigned IP. When it does get one it's not in the 192.168.0 range like her laptop, which ususally gets 192.168.0.6. What gives?

Should I remove WEP from the router?

Also, why don't I get the Zero Config wireless on my handheld?

Thanks,

Seems as if I out-smarted myselfwith the MA701. Isn't it standard practice to ignore the included driver software with new hardware

Well it seems the included netgear drivers work better than the one's I downloaded from Netgear's site ... Isn't that strange?

hi

im having a similar problem with the netgear MR814v2 router.

see my post here http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=9&TopicId=369

it seems to have something to do with using hex on both the router and iPAQ as the WEP key configuration.

Post your outcomes.
