CF plus pack battery notification

is there anyway to get rid of the nasty plus pack low battery notification?

on a 5555?

I have the same issue with my 3850. I charge my iPAQ overnight and when I switch it on the next morning I get the low battery notification. It also pops up with annoying frequency after a few hours of use. I find the message over alarmist - i.e. you could use all your data - even when my main battery is 99% - duh. So I would like a solution (registry hack) too.
