Beside Socket, anyone know a CF Wi-Fi card which truely support 802.11.x standard (x isn't g, b ... etc. it is really a 'x'). In orther words, it will allow u to download (and setup) the server cert. and let u generate a personal cert. on Pocket PC side ....
Someone told me the Dell card may work also, anyone have experience using that in a 11.x network env?
Thanks

It is supposed to be native in WM2003, but I haven't found anyone who has it working yet....
I get a little more success with the AmbiCom than with the socket, but in both cases I have no network access (running on IPAQ 2215)

I am using a 2215 also ... :-)
You are right, the code is build into 2003 but the card driver will need to take advantage in order to use it.
I start with AmbiCom(??sp) CF and can't get it to work. Their CS said they will not support .11x anytime soon (more like never).
Our IT team told me the Socket's drive should work but they don't official support CF WiFi and want me to use a PC Card(PCMCIA) instead.
According to our IT team instruction, it is kind of tricky to get the the Socket card to work in a .11x environment.
1. You will need to have a LAN connection, locate and download the root CA into your pocket PC
2. Install the socket driver and select the network
3. Select Encryption tab and pick your network's algorithm.
4. Create a user CA by follwing the on screen instruction.
5. install the root CA from step 1
6. finish up the setup and it should allow u to log in.
I never try the steps myself so not sure will it work or not ...:-)
