Weird Problem with Transcriber and Word Under PPC 2003

I'm having a really odd problem with correcting words in Pocket Word using Transcriber. When I write a sentence and want to change a word, I'll double tap it to select the word and write out the corrected one. It recognizes properly, but it changes the font size to the next smaller. Is everyone else having this problem? I just returned a 2215 yesterday, so all I have to test is my 1940 and nothing seems to help.
