Just wondering whether flashing the ROM of the 2210 to the 5450 would be feasible... Anyone have any comments on this?

Thinking of trying it cause I'm bored... Don't want to fry my 5450 though, and I've never tried stuff like this before so I'm a little worried... :?

My comment: I wouldn't do it if I were you...

Yeah... That was what I was thinking too. Just wondering about the reasons why though. Is the hardware so fundamentally different? Or would it just be the set-up of the two PPCs?

Was thinking of picking up the 2210 tomorrow just to try. But to fry my main man would be a bad bad thing... :?

I wouldn't try it. The ROM headers are totally different, and you'd end up with a 54xx series brick once you are done.

Even if your 5450 worked with a 2210 ROM image, you'd certainly lose the WiFi, fingerprint scanner and sleeve capability.

Thanks guys! Now that I've gotten some sleep I realise how silly that was. That's what happends when you haven't slept in over 24 hours... :D
