I travel extensively in my sales position across Southern California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona and must track Fuel, Service and Trips. I've used on the Palm OS platform an excellent tracker called MPG. Can be found here for reference: http://www.catamount.com/MPGPalm.html and here is a screen shot

I've been searching all night for an equivalent on the Pocket PC to no avail. I need to be able to track (as in MGP):

-Track fuel economy in m.p.g. (US)
-Track vehicle services and repairs
-Track trips for tax and business purposes
-Custom Filters - allow setting range of data that you print or look at in MPG
-Service Alarms remind you when to change your oil or tune up your car
-Upload MPG to speadsheets or databases on Windows and Macintosh
-Integrated with Pocket Quicken to reduce redundant data entry.
-Statistics/Reports

General information
-Total Miles Recorded
-Total Vehicle Costs
-Average Cost per Mile
-Average Miles per Day
-Average Cost per Day
-Fuel

Trip - miles and hours traveled totaled by purpose of trip for tax or business purposes
Last Service - the date and mileage of the last service performed. When you changed your oil, had a tune up,...

So far after evaluating a large number of apps, nothing even comes remotely close. All the Pocket PC travel management/tracking software is pretty pathetic.

Have you tried Vehicle Manager by Two Peaks?

Yep, tried Vehicle Manager and it is not even remotely close to MPG for Palm OS.

There is a Pocket Excel file setup to do MPG. .Go to My Documents/Templates then show all files there should be a "Vehicle Mileage" exel file there. I don't think it is as extensive as you want it to be though.

Tried them both and combined they still lack numerous features available in MPG. Considering these both are the closest to what I need I guess I will have to email both developers to see how open they are to improvement suggestions.

Found a program called Care Care PRO at www.pocketpc.com. I too used MPG on a Palm and currently picked up an iPAQ. So far it looks comparable.

Looks like I typed too soon. It looks good but it doesn't have an input for trips. If you ever come across an equivalent to MPG, please post.

Will post if I ever find an equivalent. Emailed the MPG programmers and they said they may create a PPC version but have no time frame set yet. If ever then I will difinitly post.
