Looks like it'll be sometime before Pocket Grandmaster will be compatible with WM2003. Anyone know of a good chess program that works under the new OS?

Here's one I found that works... It's kind of sparse but here it is, I haven't been able to test the .passport functionality.

I've got PocketChess v1.1 on my 1940 working. It is an older program I've had for about a year. Basic game, but the levels are somewhat challenging.

PalmChess from http://www.synctel.com works fine.

You should try out Chesscapade (look it up on Handango)... 3-D graphics and animated "battles" similar to the classic "Battle Chess" games on the PC.

I just tried out the trial version, and it's VERY impressive!!

I'll give it a look... I would really like to see if Hexacto's Kasparov will be any good. The guys at Pocket Grandmaster said it could be awhile before an update.

You're right Chesscapade is a good looking game. I'm just not sure it'll be as in depth as Pocket Grandmaster is, or as Kasparov looks to be. Can't wait for it.
