ActiveSync over IR

Whenever I try to use ActiveSync over IR, the iPAQ makes a connecting sound and then a disconnecting sound. No error message is given. Is there something I have to configure in order to get this to work?

What device are you using, I almost never use a cable or a cradle and it works for me, that's why I am puzzled by your question.

you're using AS 3.7 right

It's an iPAQ 3970 using ActiveSync 3.7. Really weird. It *should* work but it keeps on disconnecting right away.

without starting AC over IR, just try sending something to your PC via IR.. a picture or something... if that doesn't work then you know why.. AS over IR isn't working too

File transfer over IR is working perfectly. :) But not ActiveSync.
