Does anyone know where I might be able to find a flash player for my Pocket PC running PPC 2003. I am only interested in the player. I don't want it to be imbedded into the browser.

I simply want to run swf files from my PocketPC. I think the official word from Macromedia is that I can have there player installed for $500.00. This is because it includes certain technologies that I don't need nor care for. I just want to view my swf file from my PPC.

Does anyone know of a good application I can use that will simulate the use of Flash Multimedia?

You want something from these guys:

FlashAssist is the only application I'm aware of that will let you open files directly by tapping on them.

FlashAssist is a good program - still requires the plugin, but will allow you to avoid using IE.

Conduits has a beta flash player. Pocket Spark Beta 2

Edit: I don't know if it's ppc 2003 compatible though.

That player is older than dirt, and I think it tops out at Flash 3 compatibility. Not a very viable solution.
