I like Slurp (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&productId=21737) a bit better than Jawbreaker. Very similar though. Slurp gives you bonus points for clearing geometric shapes, crosses, hollow squares, etc.

Jawbreaker is really an old shareware (or freeware?) game called Bubblets. It is available for both PPC2000 and 2002. If you want to play it on the PC download the PocketPC SDK and run the Windows Mobile 2003 emulator. Its on there.... :)

Since this is the same as Bubblets, I'll give you that score: I hit about 1200 last year sometime. My wife is even better at it - she hits 1500+ on great games. But you should check out the Bubblets top scores list - it's full of people insanely good at the game!

I don't know if the scoring is the same as on Bubblets, but my high score on the mega shift level is 2544.

Edit: I hadn't played this game for months, until I read this post. I just played, and got 992 points in one move. Thats 32 bubbles at one time.

Pretty fun... I have always liked bubblets. It seems as if you can score much higher on jawbreaker, most likely to the increased number of bubbles...

I just started playing last week after upgrading my iPAQ to WM 2003. Best game was 642 with an average of 394.

One question though: Are there instructions for this game anywhere? I have never gotten a jawbreaker bonus and want to know what you have to do to get one. Also, want to know what the differences are between the various modes--std., continuous, shifter, MegaShift.

Totally hooked on this game, which is a bad, bad thing :wink:

That's why you put it into "Guest Mode" before letting other people play; it keeps them from killing your stats. :lol:
