This time, it's a petition whereby e550G owners can politely demand that Toshiba provide a Windows Mobile 2003 update for the e550G. As PPCT reader Charles Pickrell points out, at a $599 list price the e550G is a very expensive Pocket PC, and it is the ONLY pocket PC with a 4" screen. Because of the uniqueness of this feature, it is imperative that the Windows Mobile upgrade be offered.

GO CHARLES!!

Wasn't it Charles Pickrell who helped raise the stink against Compaq/HP about how poorly designed the iPaq38xx series was as well? He's a champion for the consumer!!

Well if you don't currently own an e550G but want to get one so you can join the petition, CompUSA has a smokin' deal on an e550G Bundle (http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=17881&pfp=BROWSE&tabtype=rb). Which comes with PPC, Cradle, External Battery Pack, and Collapsible Keyboard for $399.00. Price only available on Internet orders. Or you could just buy the PDA alone for $499.00 on sale at CompUSA!

Cheers!

WoW! That's a great deal! I wonder if that's an extra cradle that it comes with? One comes with the Genio already.

I wish some company would make a Pocket PC about the size of the 2200 but the screen would take up almost all of the front. Maybe a 2200 with a 3.8 inch screen would be cool. But anyways, I'll sign the petition cause the E550g is a very cool unit.
