h1945 Bluetooth Radio Problem

I've managed to pair my h1945 w/ my Ericsson T39 phone, and configured both devices to take advantage of my T-Mobile GPRS, just fine. However, the problem that I've encountered is: once I've checked email or used PIE to access the web via Bluetooth and the T39, then shut off bluetooth on the h1945 to conserve power, the next time I turn on Bluetooth and try to connect I fail to make the connection. What solves the problem is a soft reset of the h1945 and then an attempt at reconnection succeeds. I seem to recall that the h5455's had similar such problems until some kind of HP patch was issued. Anyone having similar problems with their h1945?
