Quick question. The iPaq 2210/15 have Bluetooth & 802.11b, correct? How about 802.11g? Can this PDA work in 802.11g networks? Or rather, does it support the new g standard. If I'm not mistaken, 802.11g networks _are_ backwards compatible...

Thanks.

They have Bluetooth only... if you want 802.11, you add a CF or SD card...

802.11g access points are backward compatible with 802.11b. As the other post said, only bluetooth is integrated into the 2210. You'll need to look at the 55XX series for inbuilt WLAN

Ohh. Thanks. Can the 1940/45 be made to work on 802.11b or g?

And what exactly can I do with built-in Bluetooth alone?

Not yet - as far as I know, there aren't any SDIO WiFi cards out yet. Look for them later this year.

You can get online with a Bluetooth phone, sync with a Bluetooth-connected PC... there's some more, but I don't remember off-hand.

Have a look in our Bluetooth Guides (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=449) for a short list of things you can do with Bluetooth. Then have a look in our forums for what people have been using it for (including problems, fixes, etc).
