Wireless sync with PPC2003

I don't know if anything's changed in 2003 or if I've just forgotten something I had to do in 2002. I can get to the internet and to shared files on my PC, but can't sync.

Under tools/options, it shows my PC, but when I tap sync, I get --

Cannot connect.
In order to connect to your work network you will need to configure a VPN connection.

Has anyone had this problem, or solved it? Thanks.

This happened to me as well. You need to change the setting in the Network Management section of the Connectivity Manager. The second combo box refers to private networking. Change the setting to the one you are using for the Internet connection choice in the first combo box. By default it sets up for a business with a proxy server.
