Alright, i've read a lot of threads where people talk about how much data they use and how much they spend and how expensive it is and i'm kinda confused.
I Have tmobile, I use my phone to dialup from my PPC via INFRARED (kinda sux cuz it has to be flat on the table ) but I never use tmobile as my isp, instead I just dialup to Bellsouth, which provides my dsl connection and also gives free dialup to the dsl clients. What are the advantages of using My provider as my isp and using another ISP to dialup to?

Using the phone itself as the provider gives you a LOT faster connection then using it to dial up to an ordinary provider. I think it's like 56k speed compared to 14.4k speed.

In addition to what PF says, T-Mobile's new GPRS price plan actually makes it cheaper to use it. For $20, you get unlimited data at about 56kbps; compare that to dialing up your ISP, which uses up your voice minutes.
