Does anybody know if it's possible to connect a USB hard disk (or other usb memory device) to an IPAQ? I'd like to conenct a drive when my IPAQ is in the car for TOMTOM maps and mp3s.

Thanks!

A USB 1.1 host CF card was released for iPAQs (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8625), but I don't know how well it works. You can't hook it up without something like that, because iPAQs don't have USB host capability.

Why do you want a USB one?

I got a 30 gig hard drive in my car holding tons of mp3s and GPS maps..

Not USB, but works without hassles (and no expensive USB CF card needed): http://www.tjotala.com/hardware/storagebrick/default.htm

Curious which model iPAQ you're using. I've been trying to get the above working with a 5455, but so far no luck.
