Do the new 19xx models have the same problem with serial devices as the 1910 does? I know the 1910 can't use serial keyboards and other serial devices.
Is the 194x built the same way? Does anyone know? I can't find any info either way.
Kind Regards,

AFAIK, yes. If you want keyboard support, you need to get a 2215 or higher.

Or you can go with an IR keyboard.

It wasn't really keyboard support that I was worried about, it was the ability to use the TomTom GPS unit that I got as part of their recent US beta. Looks like I won't be able to use it with the 194x...

Jason,
How do you guys know all this info. I have been trying to find out about this very subject of using serial devices (Keyboards, GPS etc). I know that the 1910 did not support any, the serial port was only used for charging and syncing. If this is the case with the 194X, many potential buyers will have to go for the 2215, which is almost the same size, I just had one to play with at CompUSA.
