Ooooh this might stir up some discussion I think!

Please don't take this the wrong way. When I had my Commodore Amiga, i used to get loads of quality shareware for £2-£3 when comercial games were £19.99. Now in PPC land it seems that anyone thinks they can charge £14.99 for some pretty poor stuff. Do these people expect to make a living out of this quality?

How long ago did you have that Amiga? Has the cost of living gone up since then?

As for making a living, I doubt there are many shareware authors that make living doing Pocket PC programming, regardless of quality. Many of these people are hobbyists doing it for fun or some extra cash.
