Power Efficient WiFi

I am wondering if anyone has seen any comparisons between the different CF WiFi cards for battery drain?

I know the socket card is really good in this respect, but as it is twice the price (roughly) of comparible cards, I would like to know if it is twice as good as well.

Cards I am interested in specifically include:
SanDisk
Netgear
Dlink
Socket

have a look at CF LAN Card Review at CEWindows.net (http://www.cewindows.net/peripherals/cfwirelesslan.htm). Although it is not a comparison of cards and their batter drain it does cover the power requirements of a number of different cards.
