I can't decide between the HP iPAQ 2215 or the Dell Axim X5 Advanced. The HP iPAQ 2215 is faster, small, and better looking, but the Dell Axim does have a jog wheel and a record button. What are your opinions?

Dude seriously, I dont think the lack of a record button is all that imortant unless you are already used to using a lot. It is nice to have it on the outside, but this is a matter of how often you ACTUALLY will be using it. Be realistic with yourself on that thought.

It all depends on what you want or need and how much you are willing to spend. Do you need a jog weel and a record button (don't forget you can remap a button to open the recorder)? If it is then go for the Dell. If price is a factor or you want better batter life go for the Dell. However, if you prefer a smaller form factor and want Bluetooth, go for the iPAQ.

I don't need Bluetooth or the record button, but I MIGHT want the jog wheel for reading webpages and ebooks.

If it is really that important, then go with the Axim. But seeing as I just sold my Axim to buy a 2215, then you can figure out how I feel. :D 8)

You'll be able to read ebooks and the web just fine with the 2215

The jog wheel is not that great on the Axim. It is in a weird location and is too small. I like the wheels on the Toshibas and Sonys much better.

Dont forget, even though you dont have a jog dial, you do still have the 5 way directional pad. I have been using this on my 3970 for ages with no problems. You can still read without a stylus OK. :)

I say the Ipaq just for speed alone, unless you want to wait for the next generation of Axims.
