Can't uninstall Palm Desktop

Can't uninstall Palm Desktop. I keep getting an error message about a Dll Crash and the uninstall is stopped. Running XP. Any solutions?

I don't have the disk anymore (got rid of it when I got rid of the CLIE)

Two ideas:

1. Do a manual install. Take the HotSync Manager out of startup, delete the folder and icons, and optionally remove the registry entries.

2. See if there's a downloadable version of Palm Desktop you can reinstall, and then uninstall. Palm's website certainly has one; maybe Sony has the exact version you had.
