Hi, I bought this thing a while ago and now I have to get a cell phone too. Can the 'ol ipaq 3850 be transformed into a phone? Has anyone had experience trying this?

best

The GSM/GPRS sleeve does exist out there -- but quite frankly, I've heard at best mixed reviews of it. Get a BT cell phone and pair the two -- I think you'll be happier with that solution, unless you use a cell phone minimally.

Hi

If you have a CF sleeve then this might be the sort of thing you are looking for

If I had GSM/GPRS service, this is the solution I would use as well...

I bought the GSM sleeve when it was release to HP business partners sometime ago and found it quite cumbersome to use especially when it came to lugging the big unit around on the weekend.

It the end i got rid of it and went out and bought another T68i
