Listen to PPC 2002 Note audio clip on desktop?

I have PPC 2002 and have an audio clip included in a note file (*.pwi). I cannot seem to figure out how to listen to that audio clip on my laptop computer. I've tried copying the file to the desktop using "explore" and then opening, but the audio portion is not shown in the copied file (although the size indicates the clip is still there.)

Can anyone help?

I am not aware of a way to do a direct copy and play, but if you sync your notes to Outlook you can play it in Outlook on the desktop. You may want to check into NoteM (http://www.geocities.com/zavorine/wince/mp3.htm) which will record audio notes in mp3 format.
