PPC syncing is driving me insane

Every time I connect my Jornada to my computer, it freezes the mouse, and says that it is discovering new hardware. Anyone else had this problem or know of any way to resolve it?

Sounds like you have a USB problem. Are you plugging this into a hub, possibly the same one as a mouse? Is it self-powered? If either, try debugging by plugging it directly into the computer.
