PIE Better in 03?

Has anyone gotten to play with PIE in 03? I wonder if they made it any faster than the lethargic version in 02 on my Axim :(

On a Wifi link, it flies and renders most things very well...

My bluetooth connection is slow, but I think that is more a problem with TMobile...

Yes. Whether it be due to software or hardware enhancements, PIE on my 2215 is much MUCH faster than on my 3950.

It's funny - it benmarks a little faster, but in daily use it seems MUCH faster, specifically at the rendering and the scrolling. My Axim would choke on the PPCT mobile pages if there were big graphics - it would scroll a little, then stall, scroll a little, stall, etc. The whole process is very fast on the 2215.

Thanks :) That may be the only reason I may upgrade my Axim to 03 :) Using my 802.11 card is unbearable, and I was very disappointed. Hopefully 03 will make it easier :)

Actually, for me, everything seems much faster with Wifi and Mobile Windows 2003... For instance, inbox took forever to download mail from my IMAP Server.. Now it takes about 1/3 the time... Some of it is the speed of the 2215 vs the Axim, but in general, it seems networking was optimized.
