2200 has CF??

Ok, I'm really confused or really oblivious. I was just at my local Best Buy AND CompUSA. Asked sales folks at both places if the new 2210 had CF and was answered by both that it did not. I even looked at the display unit and couldn't find a slot. Yet everything I'm reading says it has it. Where?!?

The 2215 comes with a dummy card stuck in the CF slot. Perhaps the store employees are confused and don't realize the slot is there!

It does have a slot - it's on the top of the unit right beside the SD slot.

It would have a dummy CF and SD card in the slots which might have made it look like they weren't there.

I would have to say there are "dummy slots" at Best Buy and CompUSA also!!!! It doesn't do the brand new products any justice when the retail knowledge base is comparable to the CPU in my Commodore 64!

Jordan, I thought the same EXACT thing this AM as I was shopping around. I had a Best Buy salesman take the device out of the display restraint, and I looked at the top: no CF. I grumbled about it and he says, "Oh sure there is one" and >pop<, off came the cover.

The CF-slot cover is so nifty, I just couldn't tell it had a CF slot, but...it does. I told him to sell it to me on the spot. The unit dusts my 3870.

It has a dummy card that fits VERY well into the design. So much so, obviously some people are missing it.
If you look on the back at the top you'll see the black hat has a "tab." lift up on that and, whala, the dummy card comes out.

I went to a CompUSA and saw their new display unit and when I looked at the top I must admit that I had to take a closer look to find the CF slot - it is VERY well hidden. If I didn't know better, I very well might have figured that there wasn't a CF slot.

I totally missed it myself. The only way I could reassure myself was by reading the box!!

Yeah when I first looked at some pictures... I did not even see the CF slot.
