Man! Does anyone have anything bad to say about this device?

It's starting to make me regret not having purchased this at Fry's when I had the chance yesterday!!

I've got a couple of negative things to say about the device, but they're pretty minor - for almost all users, this is a great piece of hardware!

*sigh*... guess I'll have to wait it out! :|

I'm actually about to walk into a best buy store to tempt myself once again if they're stocking this puppy!

BTW, OT but with the t-mo gprs unlimited plan in effect, I'm now browsing the forums using my PPC for the 1st time in quite a while... love the optimizations made for the smaller screen (used to have to scroll like crazy!!)

Theres two things that bother me about it - only a 3.5 screen, and lower volume. But even though I once swore I'd never buy and PPC without the 3.8 screen, and hated the 5400 cause of lower volume, the 2215 has enough amazing things that make me the screen and volume seem really minor, so I'm getting one.

Well, here i am inside of Best Buy and yes, indeed, they do have it in stock. What to do? What to do?

POST EDIT: I bought the darn thing!! The only apprehension I have is not being able to use PocketMVP on it which means as I travel, I'll need to carry to PPCs with me until that issue gets resolved... but man, compared to my 3870, I was thinking this unit is much faster, with a much nicer screen, much smaller, much lighter, bettery battery life, no need for CF expansion, better processor with better system bus, upgraded OS, ....

Tell me about the screen ekkie - how hard is it to get used to the smaller 3.5" size? That's my primary reservation about this device.

*sigh* I've actually had the same reservation. The perfect device would be the 2200, except slightly larger to fit a 3.8" screen.

I'll provide more feedback as I start playing with the device (charging now).

One of my concerns is that i'm a FITALY user which gets a bit harder with a smaller screen. I once used a HP Jornada 568 with FITALY and kept making all kinds of mistakes, but the screen sensitivity on that device was pretty low (had to tap hard to get any response) and the stylus was extremely light, so that may have thrown me off. In playing with the demo 2215 unit at BB, I can say that the screen sensitivity feels spot on (which was one of the few good things about my 38xx device). So perhaps the adjustment will not be so difficult...

Man! Does anyone have anything bad to say about this device?
Sure -- it doesn't accept iPAQ sleeves.

Very nice...

I do have a couple of nitpicky things to say now that I've been playing around with it for a short time. 1) I'm not a big fan of the speaker being located on the back of the unit. 2) It might just be my unit, but the bottom portion of the screen shows a very subtle pattern of uneven lighting. I don't know how to describe it except that it's kind of "moire"-like. I'll have to look at the demo units to see if they show the same.
